McCauley Elected as New Mayor of Buckhannon

BUCKHANNON — David McCauley has been elected as Buckhannon’s next mayor. McCauley claimed his victory in the mayoral election, obtaining 563 votes, with 41.49 percent.

Michael Cowger received 523 votes (38.54 percent), incumbent Mayor Rick Edwards gained 205 votes (15.11 percent), and Mike Bodnar finished 64 votes (4.72 percent).

Buckhannon City Council Four-Year Term: Robbie Skinner, Pam Cuppari and CJ Rylands gained seats. Skinner obtained 765, Pam Cuppari finished with 559 and Rylands received 496.
