Gov. Justice helicopter seized by federal judge

CHARLESTON —  On Thursday, a seizure order was filed against Gov. Jim Justice, stating that his company’s 2009 Bell helicopter would be seized. This is due to his firm’s $13 million dollars of unpaid debt. Senior U.S. District Judge James Jones granted the seizure of the helicopter. The Caroleng Investments Limited firm, accused Gov. Justice of having the helicopter relocated to avoid it from being seized as payment. The judge also called for a 9 percent interest against Justice’s company until the debt is resolved.
