Pedestrian hit at 4-way stop intersection, beside Buckhannon City Hall.

BUCKHANNON, WV — On Friday, a 58-year-old pedestrian was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital with a head injury, after being struck by a gray Toyota Tundra truck at the intersection of Florida and Main Street, the 4-way stop at City Hall. The driver of the truck was Jessica Vincent, 29, of Buckhannon. The pedestrian was 58-year-old Eulace Weaver, also from Buckhannon.

The driver expressed that she did not see the pedestrian, accidentally striking her with her truck, resulting in the pedestrian hitting her head on the pavement. According to The Record Delta, the incident occurred at approximately 11:00 AM.

No citations were issued. The investigating officer was Patrolwoman Angel McCauley.
