Vonda (Bonnie) Marie Bean

Vonda (Bonnie) Marie Bean, age 82, of Buckhannon died on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at her home. She was born on March 9, 1943, in Buckhannon a daughter of the late Audley Oval and Bertha Lee Shingleton McDaniels. She was united in marriage on October 21, 1962, to Gary Lee Bean, who preceded her in death on February 4, 2012. In addition to her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by four brothers: Charles, Audley, James and Franklin and three sisters: Pauline Lewis, Hazel McDaniels, and Lurena Coe.
She is survived by one daughter, Melissa Lurene and husband Charles Smith of Buckhannon; four sons: Jacky Lee Bean, Gary Eugene Bean, and Jeffrey Allen Bean all of Buckhannon and David Wayne and wife Debbie Bean of Norwich, OH; fifteen grandchildren: Kara and Kayla Bean, Allen and wife Michelle Kittle, Donnie and wife Miranda Kittle, Nicholas Kittle, Cameron Smith, Ashley and husband B.J. Kittle, Joshua Bean, Matthew Bean, Brianna and husband John Jenkins, Steven Bean, Jeffrey Jr. and wife Sarah Bean, Casandra, Sarah, and Emily Bean; eleven great grandchildren: Orion, Krista, Christopher, Kaiden, Gloria, Sophia, and Noah Bean, Elijah and Maci Jenkins, Allison Bean and Skilee Heater; one brother, Johnie McDaniels of Selbyville and one sister, Mamie Sell of Lisbon, OH: several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 3-6 PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Dale Cemetery.
