He won’t be caught singing Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the U.S.A.” This “American” pope is not proud to be an American. This pope has been attacking President Trump and Vice President Vance for weeks on the social media platform X and seems guilt-ridden over America’s success.
He could have used his remarks to launch a much-needed campaign to restore the fundamental values of Judeo-Christian civilization, or at least to say a few nice words about America. He failed at that, in an ominous indication of where the church is headed.
Although he is not a certified boy lover, Bill Donohue of the Catholic League has documented that he is mired in sex scandals that stretch from Chicago where he was born, to Peru, where he spent 20 years.
In a production worthy of Hollywood, he appeared on stage, to the declaration, “Habemus Papam,” we have a pope, when he was the logical pick of a College of Cardinals whose majority was selected by Pope Francis, a major leader of the Global Left.
No Mystery
Americans were led to believe by the media that there was some mystery to the selection, and the betting markets were misled as well, putting money on an Italian to get the job.
What we should have been told, in advance, was that he had to get the approval of the secretive Lavender or Gay Mafia in the Roman Catholic Church. This network dwarfs that of Jeffrey Epstein.
Important Catholic figures have called this evidence of the “powers of darkness” in the Vatican.
Robert Prevost, leader of 1.3 billion Catholics, is supposedly the first American pope but he did not say a word in English when he made his first appearance and accepted the nod. It was a deliberate snub to the home of his birth and — by extension — President Donald J. Trump. Instead, he spoke in Italian, and then Spanish, having served the church in Peru for 20 years, even acquiring Peruvian citizenship in 2015.
One American Catholic told me, “It left me cold,” as he failed to say one word in his papal remarks about the religious liberty and other constitutional freedoms that made missionary activities possible. “If he had spoken only in Italian I would feel differently, but the fact that he broke into Spanish and acknowledged the people of Peru made me anticipate the moment he would do the same for America!” It never came.
“I went from excitement to disappointment,” she said, when the news was announced and he failed to recognize America’s divine origins and mission in the world. “That was a direct slight to our country. None of the commentators are even acknowledging that glaring and obvious omission!”
Media Malpractice
It’s true. Commentators on the right and left went completely limp-wristed at the thought that an “American” would get that position and failed to look at his awful record and how the corruption and communism in the church made it possible.
Pope Francis was considered the leader of the global left, and Leo XIV will certainly follow. That seems to be the plan, leading some to think he may be a “false prophet” of some kind, on the road to world government, and that the Roman Catholic Church has become part of the “New Age” movement in the post-Christian era.
Although he invoked the name of Mary, the Mother of God, he made no mention of Fatima, the place where in 1917 Catholics believe the Virgin Mary appeared to three children in a vision, followed by the Miracle of the Sun, to call for the Vatican to consecrate communist Russia to avoid “errors” from that country which would devastate the world. Russia’s wars of aggression, including the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, have accelerated, even as Trump pleads for ceasefires.
As a result, according to what the church itself believes, that war will continue, without end, and Russia and China will continue to wage war on the West.
The Church abandoned anti-communism after the Russians tried to kill Pope John Paul II for working with President Reagan to oppose Soviet Russia. Dr. Paul Kengor’s book, A Pope and a President: John Paul II, Ronald Reagan, and the Extraordinary Untold Story of the 20th Century, documents how, on the anniversary of Fatima, the Soviets carried out the May 13, 1981, attempted assassination of anti-communist Pope John Paul II.
Francis got the message and failed to carry out the consecration of Russia, as requested by the Virgin Mary at Fatima. He also cozied up to Vladimir Putin and his KGB-controlled Russian Orthodox Church and made a secret deal with Communist China to pick church officials there.
Persecuting Traditional Catholics
In practical terms, for Americans, Catholics who believe in the right to life and other traditional teachings are going to be given the boot, such as Texas Bishop Joseph E. Strickland, who was fired from his post by Francis, a major development that says a lot about Prevost’s rapid rise in the hierarchy. Strickland, an advocate of traditional Catholic teachings, was removed from his duties in the diocese of Tyler, Texas, on November 11, 2023.
Under Joe Biden, traditional Catholics were monitored and even investigated, and raided by the FBI. It categorized “certain Catholic Americans” as potential domestic terrorists.
As part of the Francis plan for his own replacement, Prevost had received his “red hat” from Pope Francis on September 30, 2023, and moved to Rome, where he became head of the Vatican Dicastery for Bishops and reportedly played a role in sacking Strickland. That means he was a Cardinal for only two years, obviously on the fast track to succeed Francis.
When Strickland was forced out, it is important to note that he was NOT caught in a sex scandal, and his Tyler, Texas, diocese did not have to go bankrupt because of sex scandal payouts to victims. Instead, he was accused of criticizing the pope.
“The only answer I have to that,” referring to his removal, “is because forces in the Church right now don’t want the truth of the Gospel,” Strickland said.
With traditional Catholics leaving, there is more room for those who believe in synthesizing Christianity and Communism into a bizarre philosophy of “Christian communism.” Democrats promoting abortion will still get communion.
The Catholic Church is the largest religious body in America and openly backed President Barack Hussein Obama’s socialist health care scheme known as “Obamacare” that is helping bankrupt the United States and leading to what they already have in Canada — medical assistance in dying (MAID), or euthanasia.
Future Church
Prevost said “we want to be a synodal church,” which implies watering down of Catholic doctrine to accommodate other religions, including those who worship the Earth Goddess Gaia, Islam’s false prophets, and Hinduism’s false gods.
Clearly, the “American-made” pope is American in name only and it took only a few hours to discover his devotion on social media to open borders for America. It is a Democratic Party policy that that has meant a foreign invasion by illegals and criminals from around the world that has inflicted true suffering on American citizens but does not affect Vatican officials living behind Vatican walls.
Target the Supreme Court
The timing of this selection is significant. One wonders if the pick of Prevost is designed to impact the U.S. Supreme Court and force its Catholic members to subvert Trump’s immigration control and deportation strategy. There are six Catholics on the Court (Roberts, Thomas, Alito, Kavanaugh, Barrett, and Sotomayor).
Although Catholics consider the pope to be the direct successor of St. Peter, the church has clearly changed and has become known more for corrupt practices involving the homosexual abuse of boys than preaching the Gospel. A RICO or racketeering lawsuit against the hierarchy over sexual abuse and cover-ups is warranted, according to some critics.
Perhaps Prevost could be arrested on American soil if he arrives to meet President Trump.
Operation Restore Justice, a nationwide initiative by the FBI to identify, track, and arrest child predators, could be directed at the Roman Catholic Church.
Now, with the faux “American Pope,” the deception and dishonesty have reached new heights, as some Catholics even doubt his legitimacy. One critic called Leo “the Spiritual Son of Francis-Bergoglio” and head of the “Synodal” New Church of the New Age. Francis, a Jesuit from Argentina, went by the name of Jorge Bergoglio before being named pope.
The Jesuit journal America published “The Catholic Case for Communism,” written by a so-called Catholic Communist.
It seems he was on a fast-track to succeed Francis, a calculated move designed to con Americans into backing him when his ascension to the position of Pope was suddenly announced in a “surprise.” This was a secret deal, much like the forced resignation of Pope Benedict that put Francis in the seat.
In order to explain his failure to acknowledge his American roots, one harkens back to Fratelli tutti, a Vatican document designed “to deconstruct the concept of private property, weakening it and modifying it in a collectivist and anti-capitalist sense.” Clearly, Leo is on the anti-capitalism religious bandwagon and is full of shame over the country of his birth.
On social media, since the evidence shows he has attacked the America First immigration policies of the Trump Administration, he will be another global impediment to America’s desire to protect its Christian heritage from foreign invaders.
Far-Left Social Agenda
He can be expected to follow the lead of Francis, who endorsed homosexual civil unions in a direct contradiction of what the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith taught in 2003, with the authority of John Paul II. It said that “Catholics are obliged to oppose the legal recognition of homosexual unions” and that “Catholic politicians are obliged to do so in a particular way, in keeping with their responsibility as politicians.”
Similarly, Prevost can be expected to follow the Francis document, Laudate Deum, described by his supporters as “a powerful exhortation to all people to address the climate crisis with faith and courage.” It was a follow-up to his environmental encyclical, Laudato si!, citing the mystical work of Teilhard De Chardin, who was nearly excommunicated for obscuring the nature of the God-man relationship mediated through Christ.
To his credit, Bill Donohue of the Catholic League notes that when Prevost was the bishop of the Peruvian Diocese of Chiclayo, three sisters say that “when they reported being sexually abused by a priest, he failed to investigate it.” Equally alarming, the new pope “allowed a homosexual priest in Chicago who was convicted of sexually abusing boys to stay in a residence near a Catholic elementary school; he never told the school administration about him. Also, the convicted molester, Father James Ray, was allowed to function as a priest, until he was later removed.”
The case of James Ray, a homosexual predator, was included in the Archdiocese of Chicago’s report of “Clergy with Substantiated Allegations of Sexual Misconduct with Minors.”
This case and others were covered in a special edition of Conclave Watch, an initiative by the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP). The group had recently launched a “Conclave Watch” initiative to highlight candidates for the Papacy, which it says have covered up sexual abuse.
Tragically, the selection of the new Leo is more evidence that the Catholic Church has lost its way, and it’s a certainty that the number of traditional Catholics not attending church, now estimated at one-third, will surely rise.
