Despite the closure, all associates at the facility will retain their positions, wages and benefits, according to the statement. The company did not provide additional details regarding the reason for the closure or plans for the facility’s future use.
The Huntington center has been part of Amazon’s customer service operations for several years, employing local residents in customer support and logistics roles.
