CHARLESTON, WV — A Charleston man pleaded guilty to charges of the murder of a mother and the attempted murder of her young child in a housing complex.
In Kanawha County Circuit Court Dorian Clark was charged with second-degree murder and possession of an illegal firearm. Dorian admits that he shot mother Chastanay Joseph and her three year old daughter.
Chastanay was shot multiple times and died later at a hospital, her daughter was hit once in the chest, but she survived.
Dorian is facing a 45-year sentence that will be instated on July 21st, by Judge Carrie Webster.
