Verse: “Train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come.” ~ 1 Timothy 4:7-8
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
I pray that ______________________ and I will follow good teaching and point out the truth to others as you give us opportunity. Please protect us and our entire community and nation from having anything to do with godless myths and silly, old wives’ tales.
I pray that we will have a healthy perspective regarding physical training, and recognize that there is only little profit in it. May we be more intent on training ourselves to be godly. Open our eyes to see the value of godliness for all things, for both the present life and the life to come. I pray that we will put our hope in you as the living God, and always remember that you and you alone are the Savior of all men.
