Patty L. Andrus, age 84, of Buckhannon, died Monday, April 20, 2026, at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport. She was born on July 5, 1941, a daughter of the late Wendell and Freda Kelley Tenney. She was united in marriage on January 26, 1965, to William Charles Andrus, who preceded her in death on December 30, 2005. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, Patrick Andrus; two brothers: John and Charles Tenney; and two sisters: Stacy Suder and Betty Taylor.
She is survived by one daughter, Wendy Andrus; one son, Jeff and wife Pamela Andrus; two grandchildren: Jason Andrus and Michelle and husband Duane Ratcliffe; one great grandchild, Ezra Ratcliffe; and one brother, Clyde Tenney.
Throughout her life, she was a beautician, homemaker, caretaker and a volunteer worker. She enjoyed reading/studying the bible, cooking, bird watching, gardening, watching TV, listening to music and spending time with family.
The family has honored her wishes for cremation and a private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
