Pamela Gayle Allender passed from this life at her home in the Lick Run Community, Saturday August 22, 2026. Her death was unexpected, but she had been in ill health for many years. She was born May 27, 1956, in Cuyahoga, OH. Pam is the daughter of the Late Carey and Augusta Harman Allender. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant sister Sheila, her grandparents Ira and Madge Harman and C.C. and Anna Altender. Also preceding her in death were Uncles: Deward Harman, Lolye Harman, Maynard Hanifan, Troy Wentz, Oliver Cornell, Conrad Allender, Allman Allender, and Charles Allender; Aunts: Avandelene Cornell, Gwendolyn(Teddy) Wentz , Francis Seaman, Julia Ferguson, and Llewellyn Boyd.
Pam practiced as a CNA for several years in Ohio, she was unable to complete her nursing degree due to a disabling back injury. Pam loved to read when she could, watch TV, and shop Amazon. She will be truly missed.
Those left to cherish her memory are Her Uncle Gary Harman and wife Susan of Buckhannon, Her Aunt Luella Hanifan of Buckhannon and Her Aunt Dianna Payne and Husband Glenn of Arizona along with many cousins and her caregiver Michelle and son Raymond.
Pam’s request for cremation has been honored, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
