93.5-FM WBTQ becomes WFBY: Rush Limbaugh no longer heard in Buckhannon.

On Thursday, West Virginia Radio’s WBTQ changed its call letters to WFBY, and is now functioning under a “Classic Rock” style format. Formerly, the station simulcasted the AJR News Network, which includes Rush Limbaugh on its lineup.

Presently, it is unclear if West Virginia Radio plans to transfer another station in range of Buckhannon to their AJR Network format. Until then, Limbaugh listeners will have to listen to his broadcast through his paid subscription membership, Rush 24/7, or stream an affiliate station online (such as 600 KOGO – San Diego).

Other shows on the network, such as Talkline with Hoppy Kerchevial, is available on WAJR.com or WVMetronews.com.

For questions pertaining to the transition, WVRadio’s corporate office can be reached at: (304)296-0029.
