Mr. Reed was retired from Ford Motor Company in 1992, after many years of hard work and dedication. He and the love of his life, Betty, then moved back to French Creek to build their dream log cabin and to enjoy fishing, hunting, and four-wheeling in the West Virginia hills, and to play countless games of cards. Charles, or “Chuck” as many knew him, was an instant friend to anyone he met and will be remembered for his selflessness and “give you the shirt off his back” spirit of giving.
