Rusty Randell Wamsley, age 42, of Buckhannon, died on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at his home. He was born on February 21, 1984, in Elkins, a son of the late Rocky Randall Wamsley and Robin Nichols Wamsley who survives in Buckhannon.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children: Maycee Fox, Ethan Wamsley, and Evan Wamsley; three brothers: Rocky Randell Wamsley, II and wife Ashley, Garrett Wamsley, and Isaiah Wamsley all of Buckhannon; one sister, Rita Wamsley of Jacksonville, FL; nieces and nephews: Reese, Raven, and Lillie Wamsley; and his fur best friend, his cat Rascal, who was always by his side.
He was preceded in death by his father, and one sister, Rochelle Wamsley.
Rusty was a master plumber and auto mechanic and loved helping others.
The family has honored his wishes for cremation.
