Mountaineer Journal has obtained a photo of Sen. Joe Manchin, posing with a group of Planned Parenthood activists.
The photo was taken on July 10, 2015, when Planned Parenthood’s West Virginia field organizer and pro-choice students from West Virginia University delivered approximately 680 petitions to Sen. Manchin’s office.
“As part of the Planned Parenthood Generation Action lobby day, our West Virginia field organizer and students from West Virginia University delivered over 680 petitions to Senator Joe Manchin III’s office urging him to protect women’s health in West Virginia,” Planned Parenthood South Atlantic posted on Facebook.

Manchin has refused to publicly express his opinion on Pro-Life Amendment 1, which is appearing on the ballot this November.
