CHARLESTON, WV — On Monday, union leaders representing the WVEA, AFT-WV, and WVSSPA announced at a scheduled press conference that teachers will go on strike statewide. The strike will begin tomorrow, in response to the education reform bill currently before the West Virginia Legislature.
According to WOWK, when asked about the duration of the strike, union leaders responded that it would be indefinite.
