CHARLESTON, WV — Del. Sharon Malcolm (R-39) has died at the age of 72. According to the Associated Press, her campaign manager Emmett Hedrick expressed that Malcolm was found around noon on Monday after she passed away in her sleep. Emmett did not express if Malcolm had any existing medical conditions. In 2018, Malcolm was appointed to serve in the West Virginia House of Delegates and was elected to a full term the same year.
