BUCKHANNON — In an exclusive statement to Mountaineer Journal, Sines for WV has confirmed that Shelia Sines is expected to officially announce her candidacy for Buckhannon City Council on Friday.
“On Friday, we will have an exciting announcement to make,” expressed campaign treasurer Ray Sines. “My wife, Shelia, truly loves Buckhannon and wants to do everything that she can to improve our community and give the constituents the representation they deserve. She truly wants to unify our town, in a time when it has just been so divided.”
Sines has reportedly been considering a run for Buckhannon City Council since December, when she filed for pre-candidacy as Sines for WV.
