JANE LEW, W.Va. – Delegates Patrick Martin, R-Lewis, and Ben Queen, R-Harrison, today praised Lewis County manufacturer Latham Pool Products for its plans to hire 40 additional production jobs at its Jane Lew facility.

“This is tremendous news for our region,” said Delegate Martin, who also serves as Vice-Chairman of the House Industry and Labor Committee. “This is a very tough time for businesses everywhere due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and I’m glad and proud this local business is not only doing great, but thriving and investing further in our community.”

Latham Pool Products currently employs more than 125 workers at its Jane Lew location. They plan to add another 40 production and mold technician positions this summer.

“Latham Pool Products already employs a significant number of people from both Lewis and Harrison counties, and we’re thrilled they’ll be adding more jobs this summer,” said Delegate Queen, who is Chairman of the House Small Business and Economic Development Committee. “Our manufacturing sector is critical to our state’s economy, and we want to do everything we can to support companies like Latham and see them invest and thrive in our state.”

Latham Pool Products is the largest manufacturer of fabricated pools in the world, with over six decades of experience at the center of the backyard lifestyle. Latham has had its facility in Jane Lew for more than 20 years.

“We are happy to have the manufacturing facility in West Virginia and are proud that it is growing, thriving and contributing to the economy of the state,” said General Manager Rick Knicely. “The future looks very bright for Latham.”

Knicely said anyone interested in applying for one of the new jobs can visit https://indeedhi.re/39ogDyQ or apply at www.LathamPool.com by clicking on “Careers” at the bottom of the page.
