Conrad Clayton Tenney, a son of Celia Perry Tenney and the late Conard J Tenney was born
September 18, 1959, in Buckhannon, West Virginia. He unexpectedly departed this life on
March 24, 2025, in Johns Creek, Georgia.
He is survived by his wife Alice Weatherford Tenney, whom he married on May 27, 2002,
and resides in Judsonia, Arkansas. In addition, he is survived by his daughters, Brandy
Caynor and Kayla Bouscher, both of Buckhannon WV, a stepson, Keith Cloonan and wife
Ashley of Searcy Arkansas and an honorary son, Nathaniel Friend of Hurricane WV.
Surviving are two brothers Jack Rexroad (Deborah) and Joseph Tenney (Linda) and four
sisters Sheila Richardson, Sandra Tenney, Sharon Bise (Robert) and Mary Price (Mark) as
well as several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many aunts,
uncles, and cousins.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren Olivia and Owen Caynor, Broderick,
Madilynne and Octavian Bouscher of Buckhannon WV, and Alexzander and Jasmine
Cloonan of Searcy Arkansas.
He graduated Buckhannon-Upshur High School in 1977 and attended Potomac State
College where he studied agriculture and hoped to become a butcher.
Throughout his life he worked in the oil and gas industry, working for Sam Jack, Lang
Brothers, Pardee Resources, Union Drilling and Sidewinder Drilling. In 1979, he started at
the bottom and worked his way up to Tool Pusher. As an OTR truck driver for Maverick
Transportation, he saw drove through states but always wanted to be in West Virginia at
home on the farm.
Conrad was a member of the Searcy Arkansas Masonic Lodge #49 where had been a Lodge
Master and a member of the Scottish Rite. He was also a member of Buckhannon Moose Lodge 598.
Friends will be received at the Heavner and Cutright Funeral Chapel on Monday, March 31, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, the funeral hour with Pastor Michael Wamsley officiating. Interment will follow in the Waterloo Cemetery, where Masonic graveside rites will be held.
