A. Scott Morris, age 49, of French Creek died on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at his home. He was born in Buckhannon on February 15, 1976. He was united in marriage on June 12, 2010, to Valerie Morris, who survives. In addition to his wife, he is also survived by his mother Twila Golden Morris of Buckhannon, five daughters: Jaiden Morris, Brianna Ryan, Alexis Ryan, Rachael and husband Caleb Tacy, and Brooklynne Riffle all of Buckhannon; one granddaughter Amara Smith and two grandchildren on the way; one brother Rodney and wife Cathy Tenney of French Creek, sisters: Camella Hardinger, Mary and husband Jake Hurst, and one other sister; one special nephew Dustin Tenney; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends survive. He was preceded in death by his father.
Scott enjoyed racing R.C. Cars, riding 4-wheelers, was an avid outdoorsman and loved rebuilding his Durango. Scott loved his wife and daughters and loved them hard.
The family is honoring his wishes for cremation and a private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested for donations to be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
