President Trump is being charged with TACO, standing for “Trump Always Chickens Out,” on the matter of making tariff threats and then retreating. That charge is most dramatic when it comes to Red China. Trump slashed U.S. tariffs on Chinese imports from 145 percent to 30 percent. After that, Trump said that China had “totally violated” the truce deal, and that Chinese dictator Xi Jinping was “extremely hard to make a deal with.” Trump now seems desperate for a deal with China.

Perhaps there is something more to the story. Perhaps China understands that the United States is weak.

A foreign news service, German media organization DW, notes the hard facts. It reports, “China, which dominates global rare-earth production with over two-thirds of supply and 90 percent of processing capacity, has imposed export restrictions on several key minerals. The US, lacking domestic rare-earth processing capacity, remains highly vulnerable to Beijing’s restrictions.”

In addition to this predicament, a national security crisis, you may have heard the news that two Chinese nationals at one of our universities “were charged in a criminal complaint with conspiracy, smuggling goods into the United States, false statements, and visa fraud,” according to United States Attorney Jerome F. Gorgon, Jr.

These Chinese nationals, one of them described as “a loyal member of the Chinese Communist Party,” were arrested in connection with allegations related to “smuggling into America a fungus called Fusarium graminearum, which scientific literature classifies as a potential agroterrorism weapon.” The FBI says, “These individuals exploited their access to laboratory facilities at a local university to engage in the smuggling of biological pathogens, an act that posed an imminent threat to public safety.” The fungus toxins “cause vomiting, liver damage, and reproductive defects in humans and livestock,” the documents in the case reveal.

This charge rang a bell with me, as someone who pursued the matter of the post-9/11 anthrax attacks, and whether the anthrax was obtained from a U.S. laboratory. It was apparent at the time that the U.S. was unprepared for a biological terrorist attack and that there were “enemies within.” Then came the China virus.

To this day, the FBI has still failed to officially resolve the question of who carried out the post-9/11 anthrax attacks that killed five Americans, poisoned others, and resulted in billions of dollars of economic damage.

The anthrax letters, which were mailed to American media organizations and two senators, featured the phrases “Death to America,” “Death to Israel,” and “Allah is God.” These were indications that an Islamic extremist had written them. At least one of the 9/11 hijackers had a lesion, possibly from anthrax exposure.

But the FBI dismissed these obvious leads as a diversion intended to falsely blame radical Islam and focus attention away from the real perpetrator, supposedly a right-winger with a military background.

The threat of jihadist bioterrorism is something that U.S. intelligence agencies, led by the FBI, ignored in the case of the anthrax attacks. The FBI director at the time was Robert Mueller, who later became the Russia-gate special prosecutor pursuing Trump. In 2010, the FBI tried to close the case by blaming the anthrax attacks on a dead man, U.S. Army scientist Bruce Ivins. It was unconvincing.

FBI Director Kash Patel can reopen the case.

I accepted the conclusions of an independent group of researchers that the likely culprits were al-Qaeda operatives who were part of a second wave of attacks on the U.S. homeland and that one of them had received the anthrax from a U.S. bioweapons lab through a Muslim source in that lab. It is believed the perpetrators fled the country.

Al-Qaeda’s biological program was the work of Dr. Ayman Zawahiri, head of Egyptian Islamic Jihad, who was killed in a U.S. drone strike in 2022. China, of course, has the Wuhan Institute of Virology, which has been receiving assistance from the National Institutes of Health. This means that the United States Government was funding experiments in China’s most controversial and insecure lab of dangerous viruses in China.

For obvious reasons, President Trump has not authorized a drone strike on the Wuhan lab.

The inescapable conclusion is that the release of the China virus was an inside job with Chinese and American fingerprints all over the dangerous and deadly sequence of events.  But where is the accountability for this? Not just in terms of millions of lives lost but making China pay for the trillions of dollars the U.S. Government spent to keep the economy going during the lockdowns?

We are waiting for an answer from the Trump Department of Justice and from the FBI.

The FBI’s mishandling of the anthrax case is relevant because of the need to hold China responsible for the spread of the deadly virus COVID-19 and now the fungus called Fusarium graminearum. It is significant that these two Chinese nationals were planning to conduct further “research” on the fungus at the laboratory at the University of Michigan, as part of a plan to destroy American agriculture and American lives.

In addition to the threat posed by Chinese “students” in the U.S., Ralph Siegrist, an Army retired Lieutenant Colonel of 28 years and expert on emergency preparedness, told me in a broadcast from five months ago for my Rumble television program that the number of foreign men of military age inside the United States was at 84,000, that “We are outnumbered at home,” and therefore vulnerable to a physical invasion and takeover. He said “most” of these are Chinese but that “a lot of them are from the Middle East.” He added, “We have caught them at rifle ranges training as a squad” with Chinese instructors.

While the TACO charge against Trump is questionable, there is no doubt that he is extremely bothered by the China threat and recognizes its dimensions. He has backed away from previous demands that China should pay $50 trillion in reparations over the release of the China virus from the Wuhan lab. It also appears he realizes that tariff threats against China could backfire, resulting in another release of a deadly virus or biological agent.

Now, with the arrest of the Chinese nationals, we have been informed about one more aspect of this current and rapidly developing threat. We are at the mercy of the Chinese communists. They are waging war on us.

U.S. Government officials have put America in a weak and vulnerable situation. At the very least, the Trump Administration can hold treason trials for those officials who created the conditions for China’s war on the United States.

Why the silence? Why the failure to act?
