Virgie Elizabeth Marsh, age 98, of Buckhannon, died Sunday, July 13, 2025, at Holbrook Healthcare Center in Buckhannon. She was born on March 19, 1927, at Indian Camp, WV, a daughter of the late Franklin Granville and Macie Mae Marsh Smith. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Charles Spencer Marsh; and two sisters: Wilda Mae Smith Tenney and Genevieve Minti Smith. She is survived by one son Sonny Gould and wife Debra of Buckhannon; two grandchildren: Joe Hollen and Tiffany Dean; four great grandchildren: Iris Dean, Elowen Dean, Grayson Hollen, and Harley Hollen; and several nieces and nephews.
Virgie was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.
Graveside services and interment will be held on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM, at the Indian Camp Cemetery.
