BUCKHANNON — Matt Kerner, the Upshur County Democratic candidate for WV House of Delegates, received a total of $500 from abortion advocacy groups in campaign contributions.
According to the WV Secretary of State’s campaign finance reports, Kerner received a $250 donation from Planned Parenthood Votes South Atlantic on September 14, 2018. He also received a $250 donation from WV Free, a statewide abortion advocacy organization, on August 20, 2018.
Additionally, Planned Parenthood officially endorsed Kerner on their website for West Virginia candidates.
“Matt Kerner supports access to safe, legal abortions,” Planned Parenthood’s website states.

Kerner is presently running against pro-life, republican candidate Robbie Martin for the House of Delegates 45th district.
