GRUMBINE FOUND AT CLARKSBURG MISSION, AFTER RELEASED BY POLICE OFFICER: READ MORE>>
The search for Ronnie A. Grumbine, 55, continues. New reports have surfaced that the missing Buckhannon resident was last possibly seen in Bridgeport, WV.
Grumbine, who went missing from Leggett Addition Road, left his residence with two small dogs. The Upshur County Sheriff’s Department has confirmed that the dogs have been located by the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department, around the WDTV/Gabes (clothing store) area. We have now learned that both dogs were found on Monday, June 13th.
Grumbine is white, 5’9″, and weighs approximately 182 pounds. He has gray hair, blue eyes, and was last seen wearing a dark T-shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
Witnesses, who claim to have seen Grumbine in the Harrison County area, have stated that he is headed north.
The Inter-Mountain reported that lingering effects from prior military service may have contributed to the disappearance, according to information disclosed by his wife.
“Several of my closest friends canvased the Bridgeport/Clarksburg area today,” Ronnie Grumbine’s wife, Dorinda, wrote in a statement on Facebook. “They found out that the dogs were actually found on Monday and were taken to the pound on Tuesday, so there was definitely some discrepancy in reports that I had received. After my friends knocking on doors and talking face to face with people in the area they were able to determine that Ronnie was indeed in that area and was heading North.”
“I want to personally thank all of you that have reached out to our family in this difficult time. And a special ‘thanks’ to what I call my private team of angels (you know who you are). God is good and he is still in control and miracles happen when we pray. So please continue to pray for Ronnie’s safe return.”
If you have information about Grumbine’s whereabouts, contact the West Virginia State Police at (304) 473-4200.
